To receive Slack notifications, you will need to create a Slack webhook.
Here’s to do it:
- Navigate to the SerpWatch notification modal (make sure Slack is on!)
- Click “Add to Slack”:
- In the pop-up that appears, choose the workspace where you want to receive the notifications or create a new one:
- Choose the desired channel and click “Add Incoming Webhooks integration”:
- Copy your newly created webhook:
- … and paste into the Slack input field in SerpWatch Notifications modal:
If this returns a success message and a test notification in the channel you’ve chosen, your SerpWatch integration with Slack is working:
To finish, click “Save” at the bottom of the Notifications modal and you’re all set!
