Personal agency domain is not only easier for your clients to remember, but it also makes you look more professional and helps build brand recognition.
A personal agency URL looks like this: mywebsite.com
NOTE: We will use Cloudflare to illustrate the process of setting up agency domain. If you are already using another provider (e.g. cPanel), we encourage you to create an additional account with Cloudflare and connect it with your site before proceeding further.

Here’s how to set up your personal agency domain.
Step 1
Open Client Management:

Enter your personal domain:

Step 3
Click “Save settings” (don’t skip this step or you won’t be able to save your SSL certificate later on):

- Click the SSL button.

- Click Generate Certificate Signing Request.

- Click the Copy button.

Step 5
- Open Cloudflare in a new tab and log into your account.

- Find (or add) and click your agency domain.

- Click the DNS button (you can use any other provider you want).

- Click “+Add record”.

- Choose CNAME from the “Type” dropdown menu.

- If you want to connect your main domain, enter “.” in the Name field.

- If you want to connect your subdomain, enter the domain prefix (example: if your subdomain is seo.example.com, you should enter “seo” in the Name field).

- Target should be the same as your SerpWatch subdomain.


- Click the Save button.

NOTE: Domain propagation may take a couple of hours.
Step 6
The next step is to create SSL certificates:
- Click the SSL/TLS button.

- Click the Origin Server tab.

- Click the Create Certificate button.

- Select “I have my own private key and CSR” and paste your Certificate Signing Request.

- Click Next.

- Copy your Origin Certificate.

Step 7
- Go back to the SerpWatch app tab and paste the Certificate.

- Click the Validate Certificate button and you are done!

If the certificate has been validated, you should see a success message and the SSL button should be green.
