SerpWatch subscription plan is based on keyword checks, i.e. the frequency with which we check your keywords over a period of 1 month.
This means that if your subscription plan includes 1,000 keywords, you automatically get 30,000 keyword checks to spend from one month to the next.
Keywords = the actual words and phrases you track within a project.
Keyword checks = the number of times we check your keywords in a month.

By default, your rankings are refreshed once per day. This means that we count a “keyword” as 1 keyword checked every 24 hours.
NOTE: When you subscribe to SerpWatch, you are actually purchasing keyword checks, which gives you more flexibility in terms of tracking frequency.
Say, for example, you want to check your keywords every 12 hours instead of 24. This means you will be going through your keyword checks twice as fast and hence, you can add half as many keywords.
For highly sensitive campaigns, we offer up to hourly checks. In this case, you would consume 24x the keyword usage (1 keyword check per hour).
Now, say you have 1500 keywords to track. The tool will check them daily for 30 days, which means that by the end of the month you will have gone through 45,000 keyword checks (1500 x 30 days = 45,000).
However, if you changed your tracking frequency to every 12 hours (2x daily), the number of keywords you could add would be reduced by half and you could check 750 keywords (1500 ÷ 2 = 750).
