However, SERP rankings are influenced by many different factors beyond users’ control and ranking fluctuations are perfectly normal.
Still, if you notice that there’s a notable discrepancy between your rankings in search engine results and the ones reported in your SerpWatch account, you can report it directly from the ranking graph.
Here’s how to report a ranking error…
Open the project that contains the keyword you want to check:
Find and click the keyword in the keyword list:
Drag the cursor across the ranking chart and when you find the position you want to verify, click the “Open Screenshot” button.
Click the red “Report Issue” button in the top left corner:
Next, enter the actual position of your keyword (1) and click “Report an issue” (2):
This will send a notification to our Slack channel and our tech team will review your data immediately.
In case we confirm the discrepancy, we will email you with a plan of action.
