# Search Return Types
# Images
Image Packs are rows of images displayed at the top of the SERP. Clicking one of the images in the Image Pack or the “View all” button underneath will take you to Google Images search.

# Paid
Paid results are bought by advertisers who bid on keywords via Google Ads.
They appear either in the form of text ads (you can recognize them by the word “Ad” written in bold) or in the form of Google Shopping ads that contain images.
These results normally push organic results down the SERPs.

# Video
Video results appear as thumbnails and they’re usually pulled from YouTube. Clicking the “View All” button underneath the Video Carousel will take you to Google Videos search.

# Featured Snippet
A featured snippet is a short block of text, bullet list, or a table that appears on top of the organic search results but under Ads.
Featured snippets provide answers to specific search queries so that users don’t have to click anything to find the information they’re looking for.

Featured snippets are considered position 0, and according to Google, if your page ranks for a featured snippet, it won’t be shown in the organic listings.

# Answer Box
Answer Boxes are similar to Featured Snippets. They appear on top of the SERP and provide a direct response to a search query.

# Knowledge Graph
The Knowledge Graph is a box that contains enough information about the search term to prevent click-through to another site. On a PC or laptop, it appears on the right side of the SERP.

# Google Review
Review results usually appear in the form of star ratings for products, recipes, and services.

# People Also Ask
People Also Ask (PAA) box contains questions related to the user’s search query. Each time a user clicks one of the questions to see the answer, the PAA box expands to show more related questions.
PPA boxes can appear in any position on the SERP.
