SerpWatch has a three-tiered pricing plan designed to charge users based on the number of keyword checks per month.
Depending on your business needs, you can choose one of three pricing plans – Starter, Growth, or Premium.
And in case you ever wish to upgrade or downgrade your plan, you can do it at any time.
NOTE: Besides check frequency, keyword check usage is affected by the number of locations, search engines, and devices you’re tracking, the number of competitors, your API usage, etc.

# How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan
You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time from the Billing page.

You can also access the Billing page and change your plan directly from the Edit Project setup by clicking the “UPGRADE NOW” button found at the bottom of the green pop-up window.

# Upgrade Plan
If at any point you realize you need more keyword checks, simply upgrade your plan and you will instantly get additional check credits, plus other handy features.
To upgrade your plan, go to the Billing page and click “Upgrade” on one of the plans:

Click “Continue” to confirm:

The best part about upgrading your plan is that the change will take effect immediately – with the day of the upgrade defining the start of a new cycle.
However, you won’t be charged the full price of the new plan immediately – only the difference between your old and new pricing plan for the current billing cycle.
Starting with the next billing cycle, you will be charged the cost of your new subscription plan in full.
# Downgrade Plan
If you choose to downgrade your plan, the change will take effect on the next billing date.

Once you click “Downgrade” and refresh the Billing page, you will see the “Scheduled plan change” tab appear next to the “Billing” plan.
This is where you can see when the downgrade will actually take place.
Once the change takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, this tab will disappear from the Billing page.

NOTE:
You can’t downgrade to a plan with the number of total checks lower than the number of reserved checks for the current plan.
In that case, you will need to adjust your tracking settings to increase the number of available keyword checks (for example, reduce the check frequency or delete some of your keywords).
On billing, you will be charged the full amount of the selected lower plan.
Also, note that an annual plan can’t be downgraded to a lower annual plan before the grace period ends. If you still wish to do so, please contact the support team.
# Subscription Plan Length
SerpWatch offers monthly and annual subscription plans.
The billing cycle starts on the date of the subscription and lasts until the same date next month (monthly subscription) or the same date next year (annual subscription).
You can switch from a monthly to an annual plan anytime and get 5 months free!

In case you want to transition from an annual to a monthly plan, please contact the support team.
# How to Cancel a Subscription
You can cancel your subscription anytime you want.
Simply go to the Billing page and click “Cancel subscription”:

Once you cancel, your plan won’t be automatically renewed at the end of the current billing cycle and we will no longer update your rank tracking information. However, you will still have access to your historical data.
You will also be able to use the tool and get tracking updates until the remainder of your grace period.
If you encounter any cancellation issues and require further assistance, please contact our customer support team.
# Grace Period
Grace period is the period of time between the moment you cancel your subscription and the moment the cancelation takes effect at the end of your billing cycle.
Once you cancel your subscription, you will be able to use SerpWatch until the remainder of the grace period.
After the grace period, you will need to renew your subscription in order for your tracking information to be updated.
All the data gathered during the subscription and grace periods will be available to you forever.
If you want to resume your plan during the grace period, you won’t be charged additional fees before the next billing cycle starts.
