You can receive rank alerts to email at the frequency you specify.
Here’s how to enable email notifications in SerpWatch…
- Navigate to the SerpWatch Notifications modal:
- In the Email field, type the email address where you want to receive notifications:
- To test email notifications, click the three dots menu button to the right of the Email field and then click “Test Email”:
- After you see a confirmation message in SerpWatch, check your inbox for the test email:

Below is an example of a scheduled daily email notification for a keyword that moved up and hit an all-time high position:
Email Notifications Frequency
In case you’re using a high keyword check frequency, you can set up a custom email notification frequency to keep rank emails from flooding your inbox.
Emails can be sent either daily or hourly, for the time you specify.
- To set up email notifications frequency, navigate to the “Setup Notifications, Integration and Automation” modal and click “ADVANCED NOTIFICATION SETTINGS”:
- Check the Email Notifications Frequency box (once enabled, this setting will be applied to all of your projects):
- Choose hourly or daily frequency from the dropdown menu and specify the time of delivery:
- Click “Done” to save your settings:
