To receive rank notifications in Slack, you first need to create a Slack webhook.
Here’s how to do it:
First, navigate to the SerpWatch Notification modal (make sure Slack is on).
Click the three dots menu button to the right of the Slack webhook field:
Click “Add to Slack”:
In the pop-up that appears, choose the workspace where you want to receive the notifications or create a new one:
Choose a channel and click “Add Incoming Webhooks integration”:
Copy your newly created webhook…
… and paste it into the “Slack webhook” input field:
If this returns a success message in SerWatch and a test notification in your Slack channel, the integration is working:
To finish, click “CREATE PROJECT” or “UPDATE PROJECT” (depending on whether you were setting up Slack integration for a new or an existing project) at the bottom of the Notifications modal:
