Cross-project tagging is used to categorize keywords across projects.
You can add tags to keywords individually or batch add tags to multiple keywords at once.
Clicking a tag in the keyword list filters all projects and keywords for that tag. That way, you can save time by bringing rank data from multiple projects in one place instead of checking each project and keyword individually.
# How to Tag a Keyword
To tag a keyword, log into the Project Dashboard and click the project containing the keyword you want to tag:

Scroll down to the list of keywords and click the “Add Tag” button next to the keyword you want to tag:

Enter the tag in the designated field (1) and click “Done” (2) to confirm:

The tag you added will be visible in the TAG column for easier filtering and monitoring:

To filter the keyword list and project level chart for a particular tag, click the “#” icon (1) on top of the TAG column, enter the tag in the designated field (2), select the tag (3), and click “FILTER (4)”:

# How to Batch Add Tags
To assign a tag to multiple keywords at once, scroll down to the keyword list and check the boxes next to the keywords you want to tag:

Next, click the # icon on top of the keywords list:

Enter the tag and click “+Create tag for ‘tag name‘”:

Click “Add:”

The tag will be visible in the TAG column next to all keywords you selected:

# How to View Tag Results Page
To view the tag results page, click the tag you want to view:

Click the tag again and you will be taken to the TAG RESULTS page where you can check data across projects for all keywords with this tag:


# How to Remove a Tag
To remove a tag from a keyword, go to the keyword list and click the tag next to the keyword you want to untag:

Click the ‘x’ to remove the tag:

Click “Done” to confirm:
