SerpWatch lets you grant view-only project access to external users (stakeholders, team members, clients, etc.).
Viewers can see all data within the project but they do not have permission to make any changes (e.g. add more keywords or increase check frequency).
That way, you can keep others in the loop without worrying they will spend your keyword checks and incur additional costs.
Here’s how to grant view-only access to your project…
- Go to the Project Dashboard and click the share icon next to the project you want to share:

- Enter the email(s) of the external users you want to grant access to:

- If you want to include a message together with the link, check the “Notify people” box (1) and enter the message in the field below (2):

- Click “Send”:

- The user(s) you shared the project with will receive an email with a button to accept the invitation and view your project:

- If the user you shared the project with doesn’t have an account with SerpWatch, they will first be taken to the registration page.

- The user with view access will be able to see all data within your project; however, they will not be able to make any changes. The profile icon, settings menu, and the Edit Project button will not be visible to the user.
