Notifications can be set up at both project and keyword levels.
# Project Notifications
You can set up project notifications while adding a new project or editing an existing one.
Log into the project Dashboard and click the bell icon next to the project you want to edit.
For a new project, follow the steps outlined in the How to Add Projects guide before you proceed to Notifications setup.
For an existing project, click “Next” until you reach the “Setup Notifications, Integration and Automation” modal:
In the top half of the dialog, you can choose how you want to receive notifications, i.e. in Slack (1), by email (2), or via a Zapier integration (3).
Whichever one you opt for — and you can use them all simultaneously — make sure to toggle the corresponding switch to enable it.
Here you can also enable browser push notifications (4) for Google Chrome.

Once you set up the notification delivery method of your choice, you can further customize the type of notifications you want to receive.
To do so, click “ADVANCED NOTIFICATION SETTINGS”:
Next, toggle the switch to enable notifications for all keywords you are tracking within the project.

Once you set up notification triggers, click “Done” to save your settings.
# Keyword Notifications
NOTE: To set up notifications for individual keywords, you first need to enable Project Notifications.
Once you have enabled project notifications, go to the keyword list (found below the project-level ranking graph), and check the box next to the keyword you want to set up notifications for.
Next, click the bell icon next that appears on top of the keyword list:
Toggle the switch to enable project alerts for this keyword:
Next, check the box to override project-level notification settings:
Once you set up notification triggers and enable alerts, click “Save” to apply the settings for this keyword.
# Keyword Collaboration
Sometimes even a small keyword change can have a dramatic impact on your traffic and revenue.
This is why it’s important to stay on top of your keyword movements and take the necessary action as soon as possible.
Let’s say, for example, you’ve just lost a coveted Featured Snippet for one of your keywords.
